We attended Beth the Bassist’s wedding on Saturday, and each table was named for a prominent point on the course of the Boston Marathon. On the back of the tent-card for the Kenmore Square table, which is where Stephanie and I were sitting, I was startled and then quite amused to find my own name listed alongside "The Sausage Guy" and "Garbage Tin Drummers" as someone you might bump into while in Kenmore Square.

It was a beautiful wedding, and watching Beth get married was a lot like watching the little sister I never had get married, and I was so very glad to be invited. But the honest-to-goodness highlight of my day was seeing this sign and having a good old belly laugh when I was finished reading it.
